Jade Bowl
Recently, I have been experimenting with surface design. I am drawn to the balance of negative and positive space and I often create organic and geometric designs with underglaze, wax resist, and sgraffito. I draw inspiration from patterns and anomalies found in the natural world as well as chemical interactions of the glazes themselves.
